Brush will be approximately ten percent oversized, but will easily conform and fit into the bore size diameter due to the flexibility of the honing tool stems. The tool is self-centering, self-aligning and self-compensating to produce a consistent finish throughout the life of the tool.
• [DESIGN]: Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool brushes have round abrasive spheres fastened to ends of flexible stems, which produces pressure and finishing evenly and consistently.
• [APPLICATION]: The Pro-Graad TwistFlex Cylinder Honing & Deburring Tool can be run with hand tools, drill press, or CNC equipment. Apply a lubricant liberally such as a honing tool lubricant, 10-30 weight motor oil, or transmission fluid prior to using honing tool brush. Max RPM is 900, however optimum range is 500-800 RPM. Tip: If producing cross-hatching pattern, less is best - maximum of two passes should be done with brush within 20-45 seconds of total run time, averaging 10-55 strokes.
